The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Canadian defenceman Brandon Egli for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Egli is currently playing in his first season with Bouquetins de Courchevel-Méribel-Pralognan in the FFHG Division 2 where he has 36 points from 20 games. Prior to joining Courchevel-Méribel-Pralognan Egli had spent time in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, the HockeyTvåan, the HockeyTrean, the New Zealand Ice Hockey League and the Regionalliga.
