The CBR Brave have announced the re-signing of defenceman Bayley Kubara for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Kubara played nine games for the Brave last season, scoring three goals and eight assists. Since making his league debut in 2016 he has competed in 97 AIHL games and recorded 36 points.
During the off-season Kubara has been playing in Finland, initially with Karhu HT of the Suomi-sarja before moving across to Tornion Ice Hockey Club of the II-divisioona. In the Suomi-sarja Kubara recorded two assists and eight penalty minutes from ten games and in the II-divisioona he currently has three points and twelve penalty minutes from six games.
