2023 AIHL season: 16 April results and standings

Day 2 of the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the CBR Brave, Melbourne Ice and Sydney Ice Dogs. With their win the CBR Brave move to the top of the Rurak Conference, edging out the Brisbane Lightning on win percentage, while the Melbourne Mustangs remain at the top of the Hellyer Conference. The Melbourne Mustangs also move into the lead on the league’s combined standings due to goal difference and win percentage. Competition resumes on 21 April with games in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne.
