The Sydney Bears have announced the re-signing of Canadian defender Alexandre Gauthier for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Gauthier played 21 games for the Bears in 2022, scoring 12 goals and 27 assists. Since making his league debut in 2019 he has competed in 44 AIHL games and recorded 56 points.
