The Sydney Bears have announced the signing of Canadian defender Marc McNulty for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. McNulty has spent the 2022–23 season playing for the Kansas City Mavericks in the ECHL where he has scored one goal and two assists from 42 games. Between 2016 and 2022 McNulty has competed in four seasons in the U Sports system, a season in the Erste Liga and a season in the Elite Ice Hockey League.
