The CBR Brave have announced that forward Kale Costa won’t be joining the team for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season following his decision to remain in the Czech Republic. Costa, whose signing was originally announced in April, has instead opted to join HC Stadion Litoměřice of the Czech 1. liga on a try-out contract ahead of their 2023–24 season.
