The Melbourne Ice have announced the signing of German-Russian forward Artem Klein for the remainder of the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Klein spent 2022–23 playing in the Regionalliga for HEC Eisbären Heilbronn where he recorded 31 points from 15 games. Between 2011 and 2023 Klein has competed in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division II, DEL, DEL2, Israel Elite Hockey League, Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo, Oberliga and Regionalliga.
