The Perth Thunder have re-signed goaltender Nicholas Windle for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Windle first joined the club in 2018 as a backup to Peter Di Salvo and returned in 2019 to backup Nico Vikstén. Since making his league debut in 2003 Windle has competed in 15 AIHL games and averages a regular season save percentage of 0.756. Windle is expected to serve as backup this season to the Thunder’s recently signed Kristian Stead.
