Day 25 of the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the CBR Brave, Melbourne Ice, Sydney Bears and Sydney Ice Dogs. The Sydney Bears and CBR Brave remain at the top of the Hellyer Conference and Rurak Conference standings respectively. The CBR Brave also continue to lead the league’s combined standings, three points ahead of the second placed Sydney Bears. Competition resumes tomorrow with games in Melbourne and Newcastle.
The game between the CBR Brave and Perth Thunder also included a Teddy Bear Toss to help support the charity Wheelchairs for Kids. The teddy bears from the game will be sent out with the wheelchairs that are made by the charity’s volunteers. The match between the Central Coast Rhinos and Melbourne Ice also featured a Teddy Bear Toss to help raise awareness and funds for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.
