The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League will extend their regular season to 40 games for the upcoming 2023–24 season. The new format will see each team play eight home and eight away games between October 2023 and March 2024. The league had previously run a 30-game regular season with each of the five teams playing six home and six away games.
