Day 3 of the 2023–24 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Perth Inferno defeating the Melbourne Ice 5–4 at iceHQ. The Melbourne Ice remain at the top of the standings, two points ahead of the second placed Brisbane Lightning. With their win the Perth Inferno move into third place, pushing the Adelaide Rush and Sydney Sirens down to fourth and fifth respectively. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Melbourne Ice hosting the Perth Inferno at iceHQ in the second game of their double-header.
