The Melbourne Ice have announced the signing of forward Joey Hughes for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Hughes spent 2023 playing for the CBR Brave where he scored six goals and nine assists from 13 games. Since making his league debut in 2005 he has competed in 269 AIHL games and recorded 450 points.
