Canberra Brave have announced the signing of Canadian forward Justin Maylan for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Maylan spent 2023–24 playing for Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan in the Alps Hockey League where he scored 14 goals and 29 assists from 45 games. He also played an additional two games with the Broncos in the Italian Hockey League’s Serie A, scoring a goal.
Between 2007 and 2024 Maylan has spent time playing in the Alps Hockey League, American Hockey League, Campionatul National de Seniori, DEL2, ECHL, Elite Ice Hockey League, Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, Erste Liga, Metal Ligaen, Oberliga, Serie A, and Western Hockey League.
