Ice Hockey Australia have released the roster for the Australian men’s national team which will compete at the 2025 Trans-Tasman Ice Hockey Challenge against the New Zealand men’s national team. The three-games series will take place from 7 March to 9 March 2025 at the Paradice Botany in Auckland.
Thirteen changes have been made to the team compared to the 2024 Trans-Tasman roster. Joining the team are Zachary Boyle, Jordon Brunt, Nathan Cachia, Ellesse Carini, Daniel Chen, Braden Costa, Lynden Lodge, Maxim Lyashenko, Kai Miettinen, Morris O’Handley, Neil Pretorius, Thomas Steven, and Alexandre Tetreault.
The thirteen players not returning for 2025 include Strat Allen, Nathaniel Benson, Mackenzie Caruana, Julian Fodor, Ethan Hawes, Mitchell Henning, John Kennedy, Anthony Kimlin, Jordan Kyros, Robert Malloy, Michael McMahon, Daniel Pataky, and Vadim Virjassov.
