Canberra Brave sign Brandon McNally

Canberra Brave has announced the signing of American-Italian forward Brandon McNally for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season. McNally has spent 2024–25 playing for the Tohoku Free Blades in the Asia League where he has 12 goals and 17 assists from 25 games. Canberra first signed McNally for the 2022 season but he was unable to join the club due to national team commitments.

Between 2011 and 2025, McNally has spent time playing in the Alps Hockey League, American Hockey League, Asia League, Campionatul National de Seniori, Champions Hockey League, ECHL, Elite Ice Hockey League, Erste Liga, HockeyEttan, Italian Hockey League Serie A, Metal Ligaen, and the NCAA’s Division I. He is also a member of Italy’s national team, having been part of the team since 2021. McNally has competed in 33 games for Italy including two World Championships.
