Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) has released the roster for the Australian women’s national team which will compete at the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Division II Group A tournament. The competition will take place from 13 April to 19 April 2026 in Bled, Slovenia with Australia competing against Chinese Taipei, Iceland, North Korea, Poland, and Slovenia.
Nine changes have been made to the team compared to the 2025 roster. Aspen Cooper, Torie Cybulski, Adriana Herink, and Lucy York make their debut for the team in 2026. Olivia Last, Stephanie Newmark, Matilda Pethrick, Phoebe Roberts, and Nikki Sharp all return having missed out on selection in 2025. Last, Pethrick, Roberts, and Sharp last competed at the World Championships in 2024, and Newmark in 2017.
The seven players not returning for 2026 are Ashlie Aparicio, Sharnita Crompton, Sarah Dash, Alivia Del Basso, Kaitlyn Malthaner, Makayla Peers, and Lily Roberts. Gabrielle Arps, Marnie Pullin, and Sara Sammons had originally been named as part of the team but were later dropped from the roster.
