Melbourne Ice has defeated the Sydney Sirens 5–1 in the third-place game of the 2026 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) playoffs at O’Brien Icehouse. Melbourne had qualified for the match after losing to Brisbane Lightning in yesterday’s semifinals and Sydney had progressed following their semifinal loss to Perth Inferno.
