The Sydney Ice Dogs have released their roster for the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the 2024 roster, it includes seventeen returning players and eighteen new signings, while twenty-one players are released.
The new players include Jung Ahn, Steven Adams, Luke Bradley, Ryan Burroughs, Daniel Chen (from Adelaide Adrenaline), David D’Agostino, Kabore Dunn, Aleksandr Dvinianinov, Shane Hanna, Robert Lachowicz (from Perth Thunder), Jacob Laver, Joseph Maatouk, Thomas Moncrieff (from Sydney Bears), Ian MacLean, Ryo Murakami, David Quinn, Gabriel Robledo (from Central Coast Rhinos), and Nátán Vertes.
The players dropped are Connor Bartholomew, Max Bu, Billy Cliff, Bray Crowder (to Canberra Brave), Mike Dalhuisen, Brad Demmitt, Kesho Donald (to Central Coast Rhinos), Jakob Doornbos (to Brisbane Lightning), James Douchkov, Michael Douglas, Connor Dowell (to Sydney Bears), Sean Ellison (to Central Coast Rhinos), Mika Laajunen, Arvid Ljung, Alex MacDonald, Tomas Manco, Oscar Noone, Alec Stephenson, Kenwrick Sze, Cameron Todd (to Canberra Brave), and Jesse Wilson.
