The Sydney Ice Dogs have released their roster for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the Ice Dogs’ 2023 roster it includes 20 returning players and 16 new signings, while 11 players are released.
The new players include Connor Bartholomew, Max Bu, Billy Cliff, Bray Crowder (from Adirondack Thunder), Mike Dalhuisen (from Gyergyói HK), Brad Demmitt, Kesho Donald, Michael Douglas (from Quad City Storm), CJ Kemp (from Ontario Jr. Reign), Arvid Ljung (from IHK Comet Halden), Alex Macdonald (from Toulouse-Blagnac), Tomas Manco, Oscar Noone, Stepan Olkin, Kenwrick Sze (from Krazy to the Max), and Jesse Wilson.
The players dropped are Mackenzie Bolger (to Central Coast Rhinos), Nicholas Doornbos, Alexander Dvinyaninov, Brandon Egli (to Strasbourg), Stefan Fournier (to Thetford Mines Assurancia), Brady Heppner, Kyle Hunter, Samuel Ivanic (to Hasle-Løren), Shannon McGregor, Lachlan Shumak, and Tom Voller.
