2026 AIHL season: 8 August results and standings

Day 42 of the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) regular season has finished with wins for Brisbane Lightning, Canberra Brave, Melbourne Mustangs, and the Newcastle Northstars. Following today’s results, Canberra Brave become the third team to qualify for the 2026 Goodall Cup playoffs, joining the Melbourne Mustangs and Newcastle Northstars. The Newcastle Northstars continue to lead the standings, edging out the second-placed Melbourne Mustangs on win percentage. Competition resumes on 9 August with games in Adelaide, Canberra, Newcastle, Perth, and Sydney.
