Perth Inferno have announced the re-signing of head coach John Kennedy for the 2026–27 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) season. Kennedy returns for his second season as head coach, having been in the role since January 2026. Since joining the club, he has a record of nine wins from ten games, with Perth going on to win the 2025–26 regular season and the 2026 AWIHL final.
