Round 5 of the 2016-17 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season has finished with the Brisbane Goannas defeating the Adelaide Rush in both games at Iceworld Boondall. The Sydney Sirens remain on top of the standings, while the Goannas move into second place following their two wins. The league now breaks for the Christmas period with competition resuming on 14 January.
