The Melbourne Mustangs have released an update stating that the 2020 AIHL season has officially been cancelled. The league has yet to make a similar announcement but it seems unlikely that the Mustangs would jump the gun on something like this if it wasn’t certain. The update also mentions that the idea of a modified competition is now essentially dead following the current pandemic situation in Victoria.
