The Newcastle Northstars have released their roster for Game 2 of the 2020 Hawkesbury Classic. Added to the roster are Stuart Cole-Clark, Riley Tonks and Franki Vlasek. Cole-Clark returns to the team after three seasons playing in the East Coast Super League (ECSL), most recently for the Northstars ECSL farm team. Tonks and Vlasek make their debut for the Northstars with Tonks having spent the last two seasons playing junior hockey in Sweden while Vlasek last played in the AIHL for the Sydney Ice Dogs back in 2013.
Players dropped from the roster for the game include Jakob Brooks, David Ferrari, Jayden Ryan, Connor Schultz and Shane Southwood. Game 2 of the Classic gets underway today at 17:00 at the Macquarie Ice Rink.
