2022 AIHL season: 1 May 2022

Day 2 of the 2022 Australian Ice Hockey League season sees wins for the CBR Brave and Melbourne Mustangs. The Brave remain at the top of the standings, three points clear of the second placed Newcastle Northstars. In exhibition gameplay the Sydney Ice Dogs defeated the Central Coast Rhinos 5–4 following a shootout at the Erina Ice Arena. Competition resumes on 7 May with two regular season games.
