2023 World Championship program set

Following the International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) 2022 Semi-Annual Congress the final dates and locations for the upcoming 2023 World Championships have been confirmed. Ice Hockey Australia will send teams to all five categories for the first time since 2019.

2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II Group A

  • Dates: 21 January to 27 January 2023
  • Location: Dumfries, United Kingdom
  • Opponents: Great Britain, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands and Turkey

2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III

  • Dates: 26 January to 2 February 2023
  • Location: Istanbul, Turkey
  • Opponents: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey

2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Division II Group B

  • Dates: 20 February to 26 February 2023
  • Location: Cape Town, South Africa
  • Opponents: Belgium, Croatia, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey

2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B

  • Dates: 27 March to 2 April 2023
  • Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
  • Opponents: Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Chinese Taipei and Netherlands

2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group A

  • Dates: 16 April to 22 April 2023
  • Location: Madrid, Spain
  • Opponents: Croatia, Georgia, Iceland, Israel and Spain

  • Dates for the U20 World Championship Division III changed to 26 January to 2 February
