The Perth Thunder have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Tristan Côté-Cazenave for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Côté-Cazenave is currently playing for Rivière-du-Loup 3L in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey where he has a 0.888 save percentage and a 3.74 goals against average from twelve games. Prior to joining Rivière-du-Loup Côté-Cazenave spent time with the Reading Royals in the ECHL and with the Knoxville Ice Bears in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Côté-Cazenave is the second player from Rivière-du-Loup to sign with the Perth Thunder for 2023 after they announced the signing of forward Anthony Gagnon last week.
