The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Canadian forward Stefan Fournier for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Fournier is currently playing with the Allen Americans in the ECHL where he has eight points from 15 games. Prior to joining the Americans Fournier also spent some of his 2022–23 season with the Cardiff Devils in the Elite Ice Hockey League and the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder. From 2014 to 2022 Fournier has spent time playing in the American Hockey League, the ECHL and the Slovak Extraliga.
