The 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group A gets underway on Sunday at the Pista de Hielo de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. The competition will take place from 16 April to 22 April 2023 with Australia taking on Croatia, Georgia, Iceland, Israel and Spain. Australia’s opening game of the tournament is against Croatia with the two teams having last met at the 2019 World Championships where Australia lost 1–2.
