The Brisbane Lightning have announced the signing of goaltender Jaden Pine-Murphy for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Pine-Murphy spent 2022 as a backup goaltender for the Brisbane Rampage in the Pacific Hockey League, though didn’t see any ice time. Pine-Murphy previously played in the AIHL between 2013 and 2019 for the Melbourne Ice and Melbourne Mustangs where he competed 86 games and posted an average regular season save percentage of 0.880.
