The Newcastle Northstars have added Canadian forward Riley Klugerman to their roster for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Klugerman spent 2022–23 playing for the Hearst Lumberjacks in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) where he scored 30 goals and 38 assists from 61 games. Since joining Hearst in 2021 he has competed in 125 NOJHL games and recorded 118 points.
