The Perth Thunder have announced the signing of American forward Andrew Bellant for the remainder of the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Bellant spent 2022–23 playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) for the Knoxville Ice Bears and the ECHL for the Indy Fuel. Starting the season off with Knoxville Bellant recorded seven points from five games before being loaned to the Indy Fuel where he played 68 games, scoring 15 goals and 13 assists. Between 2018 and 2023 Bellant has competed in the ECHL, the NCAA’s Division I and Division III, and the SPHL.
