The Sydney Ice Dogs have added American forward Brady Heppner to their roster for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Heppner spent 2022–23 playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs where he recorded nine goals and twelve assists from 21 games. Between 2016 and 2023 Heppner has spent four seasons in the NCAA’s Division III with Saint John’s University and three seasons in the SPHL with Roanoke.
