The Adelaide Rush have defeated the Brisbane Lightning 4–2 in the third-place game of the 2024 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League playoffs at the O’Brien Icehouse. Adelaide had qualified for the match after losing to the Melbourne Ice in yesterday’s semifinals and Brisbane had progressed following their semifinal loss to the Perth Inferno.
