The Sydney Bears have announced the signing of American forward Lucas Herrmann for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Herrmann spent 2023–24 playing for the Pensacola Ice Flyers in the Southern Professional Hockey League where he recorded 11 goals and 14 assists from 53 games. Between 2017 and 2024 Herrmann has spent time playing in the NCAA’s Division I and Division III, North American Hockey League, Southern Professional Hockey League, and the United States Hockey League.
