
Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2024–25 season. Today features Part 4 of 11 of Australians in the United States.
Chris Harpur (AHL profile, ECHL profile): Fourth season with the Orlando Solar Bears and second with Syracuse Crunch. Primarily playing for Orlando in the ECHL, Harpur scored two goals and twelve assists from 56 games. With Syracuse, he competed in 13 American Hockey League (AHL) games and recorded three assists. In June 2025, Harpur signed a one-year contract extension with Syracuse for a third season in the AHL.
Louden Hogg (Holy Cross profile): Third season with the College of the Holy Cross. Playing in the NCAA’s Division I, Hogg competed in one game, recording a save percentage of 0.818 and a goals against average of 3.93.
Bryce Kitching (NAT1HL profile): First season with Boston Hockey Academy and the Lincoln Stars after spending 2023–24 with Gilmour Academy High. With Boston Hockey Academy, Kitching competed in five games of independent 16U AAA competition, recording a save percentage of 0.829, and two games in the Elite Prospects Cup Series’ 16U Division, recording a 0.865 save percentage. With the Lincoln Stars, he played five games in the North American T1er Hockey League’s 16U Division, averaging a save percentage of 0.935, and twelve games of independent 16U AAA competition, recording a save percentage of 0.892. He also made one appearance for Lincoln in the Tier 1 Hockey Federation’s 16U Division and participated in the World Selects Invitational.
Amelia Knott: First season in the United States. Playing for Lovell Academy in independent 19U AAA competition, Knott recorded a save percentage of 0.939 across 28 games. Heading into 2025–26, she has signed with Buffalo State University of the NCAA’s Division III.
Olivia Last (St. Olaf profile): First season in the United States after spending the last five seasons in Finland. Playing for St. Olaf College in the NCAA’s Division III, Last competed in three games, recording a save percentage of 0.897 and a goals against average of 3.33
