2026 AIHL season: 26 April results and standings

Day 6 of the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) regular season has finished with wins for Brisbane Lightning, Central Coast Rhinos, Newcastle Northstars, and Perth Thunder. With their win, the Newcastle Northstars increase their lead at the top of the standings to five points over the second placed Melbourne Mustangs. Competition resumes on 1 May with Melbourne Ice hosting the Melbourne Mustangs at O’Brien Icehouse.

The match between the Melbourne Mustangs and Perth thunder also served as game two of Melbourne’s ANZAC Round which saw them wearing a themed jersey. In Brisbane, the Lightning celebrated their opening home round by wearing a one-off retro style jersey.
