With the 2025–26 season having finished in the Northern Hemisphere we thought we would take a brief look at the Australian players who were competing overseas. Today features part 1 of 9 Australians in the United States. The information is collected from Elite Prospects and so might not be fully comprehensive.
Mackenzie Bolger (ACHA profile): First season with the University of Jamestown after spending 2024–25 with Waldorf University. Playing in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division 2, Bolger recorded seven goals and 13 assists from 16 games.
Logan Brodie (Gamesheet profile): First season with the Nashville Jr. Predators after spending the last two seasons with Gilmour Academy. Playing in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League’s 18U Division, Brodie recorded six goals and eight assists from twelve games. He also made 35 appearances in other 18U AAA competition, recording 23 goals and 30 assists.
Declan Bronte (Fitchburg State profile, FPHL profile): Second season with Fitchburg State University and first with the Danbury Hat Tricks. Starting the season off with Fitchburg State in the NCAA’s Division III, Bronte recorded three goals and five assists from 26 games. In March 2026, Bronte signed with Danbury to play in the Federal Prospects Hockey League where he competed in five games. Heading into 2026–27, he has re-signed with Danbury for a second season.
Tyrone Bronte (ECHL profile, SPHL profile): Tenth season in the United States and first since 2023–24 after spending last season in Croatia. Starting the season off with Wichita Thunder in the ECHL, Bronte recorded one goal from seven games. Then in November 2025, Bronte transferred to the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the SPHL. Finishing the season with Pensacola, Bronte recorded 11 goals and 15 assists from 48 games.
Ava Calabria (Suffolk University profile): First season with Suffolk University after spending 2024–25 with Salem State University. Playing in the NCAA’s Division III, Calabria competed in seven games.
