Sydney Ice Dogs forward Kale Costa has been named the Skaters Network Australian Player of the Year for the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Costa played sixteen games for Sydney during the regular season, recording nineteen goals and thirty assists. His forty-nine point total saw him finish at the top of his team’s scoring list and twentieth on the league’s scoring leaders list. Costa also won four of the nineteen Skaters Network Australian Player of the Week awards.
