The Melbourne Mustangs have released their roster for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the Mustangs’ 2023 roster it includes 24 returning players and 17 new signings, while 17 players are released.
The new players include Mohd Hariz Ananda (from Outlaws IHC), Oliver Ashby (from Seattle Jr. Kraken 18U AAA), Matheus Baldwin, Rowan Barrett, Justin Dixon (from Melbourne Ice), Logan Flodell (from Manchester Storm), Tristan Fraser, Mike Giorgi (from CBR Brave), Matheson Graham, Jacob Haley, Adam Harper, Mackenzie Hill, Yuga Kikuchi (from Melbourne Ice), Rafael Lakandula, Harrison Paraskevis, Nick Ponomarev (from South Shore Kings), and Harvey Rigg.
The players dropped are Jack Carpenter, Brendan Connors, Liam Hughes, Mitchell Humphries, Brendan McDowell, Michael McDowell, Casey Minson, Keenan Nelson (to Ontario Hockey Academy U17), Thomas Papas (to SAHA U17 Prep), Jaidyn Peers, Jett Porter (to A21 Academy U18), Alexander Rose, Ryan Ruddle, Lukas Subrt, Lee Turner, Jordan Warren, and Joe Zanlunghi.
