The Newcastle North Stars have announced their imports for the upcoming 2015 season.
- Luke Moffatt – American forward drafted 197th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Currently playing for the Storhamar Dragons in the GET-ligaen
- Jan Safar – Czech defenceman currently playing for the Fayetteville FireAntz in the Southern Professional Hockey League
- Geordie Wudrick – Canadian forward drafted 88th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Currently playing for the Louisiana IceGators in the Southern Professional Hockey League
- Dayne Davis – Canadian goaltender most recently played for the Whitby Dunlops in the 2012-13 Allan Cup Hockey league season. Played nine games for the Sydney Bears in 2009 and finished with a save percentage of 0.846
The four new imports join American John Kennedy who will start his third season with the North Stars and is expecting to gain an Australian permanent residency in the coming months. Davis, like Kennedy is also working towards his permanent residency.
