2017 U20 World Championships: Australia loses to Serbia

The Australian men’s national under-20 team have lost their fourth game of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group B tournament, losing to Serbia 0–6. Forward Ethan Cornford was named best Australian player of the match. In other games of the day South Korea defeated Mexico 12–0 and Spain beat Belgium 6–3. After the end of the fourth round Australia remain in last place on the standings, eleven points behind the leaders Spain. The teams have a rest day today and return on Friday with Australia taking on Belgium in their final game of the tournament.
