The Newcastle Northstars have announced the signing of Canadian forward Josh Adkins for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Adkins spent the 2022–23 season playing for Bisons de Neuilly-sur-Marne in the FFHG’s Division 1 where he scored 11 goals and 17 assists from 30 games. Prior to joining Neuilly-sur-Marne Adkins had spent four seasons playing in the NCAA’s Division III and a season in the Southern Professional Hockey League.
