Day 1 of the 2023–24 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the Adelaide Rush and Melbourne Ice. With their win in regular time the Melbourne Ice sit at the top of the standings, one point clear of the second placed Adelaide Rush. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Sydney Sirens hosting the Melbourne Ice at Macquarie and the Adelaide Rush take on the Brisbane Lightning at Boondall.
