The 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B gets underway in a couple of weeks at the Polisportiu in Puigcerda, Spain. The competition will take place from 17 March to 23 March 2024 with Australia taking on Bulgaria, China, Chinese Taipei, Israel, and Spain. Israel had initially been withdrawn due to safety and security concerns. This no longer appears to be the case though the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) have yet to provide any update. Australia’s opening game of the tournament is against China. The two teams last met at the World Championships in 2023 where China won 5–2.
