Melbourne Ice have released their roster for the 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the 2024 roster, it includes twenty-two returning players and eight new signings, while eight players are released. Additional imports are expected to be announced at a later date and will be added to the roster when they become known.
The new players include Sebastian Bergholt (from Rødovre Mighty Bulls), Tyrone Bronte (from KHL Sisak), Mackenzie Hill (from Melbourne Mustangs), Vinnie Hughes, Michael McMahon (from Melbourne Mustangs), Thomas Powell, Kolton Shindle (University of Regina), and Corey Stringer.
The players dropped are Austin Albrecht (to Tulsa Oilers), John Aonso (to Peoria Rivermen), Greg Davis, Michael James, Brendan Kleipas, Roman Kraemer (to Carolina Thunderbirds), Jeff Solow, and Josh Walt.
