Day 44 of the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) regular season has finished with wins for Canberra Brave, Melbourne Mustangs, and the Sydney Bears. Following today’s results, the Sydney Bears become the fifth team to qualify for the 2026 Goodall Cup playoffs, joining Canberra Brave, Melbourne Mustangs, Newcastle Northstars, and Perth Thunder. The Melbourne Mustangs move to the top of the standings, three points ahead of the now second-placed Newcastle Northstars. Competition resumes on 16 August with games in Canberra, Central Coast, Melbourne, and Newcastle.
