Ice Hockey Australia have released the Australian men’s under-18 national team roster for the upcoming 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B tournament. The competition will take place from 23 to 29 March in Sofia, Bulgaria with Australia competing against Bulgaria, China, Croatia, the Netherlands and Spain.
Changes to the team from the 2020 World Championships include the additions of Mitchell Choi, Dillon Dewar, Nicholas Doornbos, Luke Doyle, Dmitri Kuleshov, Maxim Lyashenko, Noah Maley, Patrick Sucher and Easton Robitaille. Kale Costa returns to the team after being named in 2019 but didn’t end up playing. While players dropped include Nathaniel Benson, Declan Bronte, Jakob Doornbos, Zachery Gumm, Marcus Hosen, Reece Lukowiak, Max Miller, Thomas Moncrieff and Kalin Njirich.
