Melbourne Mustangs defeat Melbourne Ice in Good Friday Appeal exhibition game

The Melbourne Mustangs have defeated the Melbourne Ice 6–2 in their exhibition game at the O’Brien Icehouse. Matt Armstrong led the scoring with four goals for the Mustangs. The game was held in support of the Good Friday Appeal, an annual fundraising event for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. The game was played in front of a sold-out crowd and raised over $28,000.

Update (1 April 2023): The amount raised has increased to over $30,000.
