The Melbourne Mustangs have released their roster for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the Mustangs’ 2022 roster it includes 22 returning players and 18 new signings while 11 players are released.
The new players include Bradley Apps (from Canterbury Red Devils), Artem Astafiev, Jack Carpenter (from Melbourne Ice), Todd Cutter (from Melbourne Ducks), Thomas Flack, Liam Hughes, Dean Klomp, Christopher Lawrence (from Fife Flyers), Bryan Mackenzie (from Melbourne Ice), Michael McMahon (from Melbourne Ducks), Casey Minson, Keenan Nelson, Matt Nikitin (from Melbourne Ice), Thomas Papas, Jett Porter, Vladislav Rachinsky, Ryan Ruddle (from Melbourne Ducks) and Joe Zanlunghi.
While the dropped players are Andrew Belic, Michael Breedveld, Jacob Haley, Blake Martucci, Alex May, Jackson McCoy, Dylan Morris, Spencer Nave, Conor O’Brien, David Shumborski and Connor Sidari-Alley.
